UPDATE: Heavy Snow North, Lighter Snow South

Happy Friday everyone. I hope you’re enjoying your day. As of noon, a “donut” has formed on radar for the Quad Cities and hometowns south. This means the snow has cut off, for now. Don’t fret or get excited, more is pushing in from the west and it’ll give us another inch or so.

Officially, as of noon, only 0.5″ in Moline at the airport. However, other parts of the Qaud Cities are around 2″, but totals up near Galena and Dubuque are closer to 3″.

Finally, totals of 1-2″ South, 2-4″ in the IL Quad Cities, 3-5″ in the IA Quad Cities, and 4-8″ north are expected before the snow ends this evening.

    • Eric,

Officially, in Moline, at the Quad City International Airport the total was 1.1″.

However, I live right off Avenue of the Cities in Moline and my total was between 2-3″.

Thanks for checking out the blog and responding.

      Have a great week.
