I Forecast Weather Much Better

The Oscars are coming up on Sunday, February 24, 2013, and I’ll likely tune in to watch some or all of that show.  However, this Sunday night, it’s the Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.  While it would interesting to see Elton John and Maroon 5 perform and to see Prince present an award, just the thought of seeing Taylor Swift bores me.  So, I plan on watching “Flight” instead.

I watched last year’s show to see the tribute to Whitney Houston after her sudden and shocking death.  And, the show, overall, was awful.  I blogged about it and caught some flack for criticizing the Beach Boys’ performance!

Fun., Frank Ocean, Mumford & Sons, Jay-Z, Kayne West, and Dan Auerbach are all nominated for six Grammy Awards.

Here are the nominees for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards and my picks to win is in **bold print.  No, I’m not subjecting you to all 81 categories!!!!

And, by the way, I’m usually really good at picking the winners for Golden Globe Awards, the American Music Awards, the Academy Awards, and the Emmy Awards.  But, I’m horrible at picking the Grammy Awards.

If you need proof, of the 78 categories last year, I predicted 28 categories.  I got ten correct and missed eighteen!  That’s 36%!  It’s a good thing that I predict weather much better!!!!!!!!!
